cleansing me of his disgrace
take away my past mistakes
comfort me while my heart breaks

as it pours down over my body
I remind myself his efforts were shoddy
I try to pretend that I'm over him
while I know I'd go back on a whim

water running down my cheeks
reminding me that I am weak
I wish the pain of life would withdraw
so that I can be happy once more

makes me think so clearly
its a pity it could not make me drown
cause then I wouldn't notice that he's not around

after these moments of weakness I remember
the last time I felt like this, last December

here in the rain,
our hearts racing,
faces red,
clothing drenched,
smiles on our faces
as we dance together,
droplets falling from the sky
the tears of happiness,
being watched by those up above,
being smiled upon,
we move closer together,
in eachothers' arms,
a kiss of love,
warm and passionate,
a moment that should last an eternity,
it feels amazing being here in the rain with you,
with the one I love,
the look in your eyes,
the gentle embrace,
it makes my heart race,
it's beating much faster,

I sometimes wonder

Days pass by,

And see how vast the sky really is.

Fearing the slightest pause,
But life is to be savored, not swallowed.

We must find a way to overcome
Our imaginary responsibilities,
Or our lost and lone

i would write you a letter but i imagine you kicking and screaming, jagged fists wailing black and blue on the yielding floorboards. the room is turning to black because the sun is setting outside my house, it is turning black because you are sitting on my chest, knees digging into my breasts, and you are a heavy weight on my heart. these red walls have ceased to be walls, and have become something far more sentient. i am within the body of my mother, watching the tiles of her womb pulse with blood and breath. i am a newborn without the ability to love, an old woman in my remembrance, and painted with the guilt of a teenage girl.

or read, or something. the words are jumbled,
and two plus two doesn't equal four.

I like it in the rain no one can see I'm crying,
All the pain is hidden while I'm slowly dying,
The streaks on my face I can blame on the rain,
HIding the lies and masking the pain,
The fear in my eyes is the only trace,
As the rain clears away every tear from my face,
The water slowly drips down from my hair,
In the rain no one need know that I'm even there,
Soaked to the skin every single part of me,
I love being in the rain as I'm finally free...

well... it.s awesome... but have u tried dancing in the rain instead of crying??? i have over calm those times that i was crying in the rain, it's time to rejoice and feel how blessed you are having those storms... ^_^

I love the rain too. People think I'm weird because I like when the sky is dark and it is raining out. I just think it's really beautiful when it rains. And so what if I'm weird, doesn't everyone have something weird about them.
